THE WHOLE COST. UP FRONT.
Your list grows.
Your license doesn’t.
Compare the same marketable contact count and 10 monthly campaigns. Virfice includes its yearly license and estimated delivery; Kit uses regular monthly pricing.
Enable JavaScript to calculate the cost for your list.
USD estimates before tax. SES attachment data, optional services and ancillary fees excluded. Virfice is paid yearly; its monthly figure is an equivalent. Kit promotions and annual discounts excluded. Included-send limits are enforced; unknown overages are not estimated. Prices need review after 90 days.
How the calculation works
Estimated campaign sends = contacts × 10. Automation and transactional emails are additional and excluded from this scenario. Virfice = yearly one-site license ÷ 12 + monthly emails ÷ 1,000 × the selected SES rate. Kit = the published, undiscounted monthly price for the contact tier. One-year projections assume unchanged prices and usage; Kit’s projection is 12 monthly payments.
SES Essentials includes its bundled deliverability features; à la carte uses base outbound sending. Actual costs and sending quotas depend on your AWS account. Virfice imposes no license-based contact or sending cap, but your hosting and sending provider still have practical limits.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT HOME FOR YOUR MARKETING
A better fit starts
with your priorities.
You’re building a hosted,
creator-focused newsletter.
- Your priority is a newsletter and creator audience.
- You want Kit’s Creator Network and commerce tools.
- You prefer hosted sequences and subscriber tagging.
- You accept subscriber-tier pricing and connector-based store data.
WordPress is where
your business runs.
- You want campaigns, forms and automations in your site.
- You prefer a fixed license over per-contact software pricing.
- You want control over your sending provider.
- You can maintain your WordPress hosting and backups.
A PRACTICAL WAY TO SWITCH
Keep the relationships.
Rebuild the workflow.
Move carefully so your consent records, contact data and sending setup stay intact.
Get setup help ↗Export and review your audience
Keep subscription status, consent evidence and field values. Deduplicate contacts and retain suppression lists.
Prepare Virfice and your delivery service
Create matching custom fields, map your CSV and authenticate your sending domain. Test before sending to your full list.
Rebuild forms, emails and automations
Check triggers, delays, links and unsubscribe behavior. Kit designs and flows don’t automatically become Virfice workflows.
BEFORE YOU MAKE THE MOVE
Good questions.
Clear answers.
Can I run my email marketing without leaving WordPress?
Yes. Manage campaigns, contacts, signup forms, automations and reports inside your WordPress dashboard. Virfice keeps your email marketing alongside the site and store you already manage.
Do I need a separate plugin to connect WooCommerce?
No separate WooCommerce connector plugin is needed. Virfice’s native integration lets you use store customer data, supported order events and conditions to create targeted campaigns and follow-up workflows.
Does Virfice include email delivery?
The license and delivery are separate purchases. This calculator adds a base SES delivery estimate to the yearly license so the displayed cost includes both. Account quotas, attachment data and optional sending services may affect your actual bill.
Can I add my own contact fields?
Yes. Virfice supports custom contact fields beyond its default contact information, including details collected through forms. Kit supports up to 140 custom subscriber fields. Virfice keeps its fields and forms inside WordPress without a field-count license charge.
Will Virfice charge more when I add contacts?
The Virfice license is not priced per contact. A larger audience or higher send volume may increase delivery and hosting needs. That is different from a contact-tier software subscription.

Pricing record dates appear in the calculator. Kit Creator is the feature and cost baseline. Kit provides a visual email builder with content blocks and visual template editing. Its plugin supports a WordPress form-builder block and form shortcodes. Birthday sends can use custom-date delays; this is not a claim of an identical recurring birthday trigger. WooCommerce purchase syncing and cart recovery need the Kit store app/plugin. Product purchases can start automations; this differs from Virfice’s direct order conditions. Direct email-match conditions and native order creation/status, category, coupon, per-order total, payment and billing/shipping-country condition support were not confirmed in the standard connector. Kit supports up to 140 custom fields and bills confirmed subscribers. Its subscribers are organized with tags/segments rather than separately billed audience copies. Global brand settings refers to marketing plus native WordPress/WooCommerce emails; a hosted brand tool is not the same scope. No claim of complete feature parity. Kit is a trademark of its owner; this page is an independent comparison by Virfice.
